This message will be consistent with our screening communication at all of our front doors.<\/li>\n<li>Pre-operative testing is highly recommended for all surgical procedures. Patients who have not tested or have pending results will likely have their procedures rescheduled.<\/li>\n<li>Testing should take place 2-5 days prior to the procedure\/surgery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Intubation guidelines<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Providers may wear protective gowns during intubation for negative or unknown COVID-19 tested patients in addition to their respirator mask and eye protection.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n<div class=\"su-accordion su-u-trim\"><div class=\"su-accordion su-u-trim\"><\/div><div class=\"su-spoiler su-spoiler-style-default su-spoiler-icon-plus su-spoiler-closed\" data-scroll-offset=\"0\" data-anchor-in-url=\"no\"><div class=\"su-spoiler-title\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"button\"><span class=\"su-spoiler-icon\"><\/span><strong>COVID-19 Testing and Antibody Sites for Patients<\/strong><\/div><div class=\"su-spoiler-content su-u-clearfix su-u-trim\">\n<p>For updated information on COVID-19 testing and test locations, please click <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uchealth.org\/services\/infectious-diseases\/coronavirus-covid-19\/covid-19-testing\/\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/uchealth-wp-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2020\/05\/28085348\/Antibody-testing-FAQs_For-Providers-_5.27.20-1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Antibody testing FAQs for providers<\/a><\/p>\n<p>UCHealth has many locations where patients can be tested for COVID-19 and antibodies.<\/p>\n<p>Please note: While patients no longer need an order from a provider, patients must select the test that they want, location, and an open time slot in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uchealth.org\/access-my-health-connection\/\">My Health Connection<\/a>, UCHealth&#8217;s online patient portal.
