Even as an old soldier, I don\u2019t know that I have seen courage like I\u2019ve seen here,\u2019\u2019 Klaehn said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI cannot say enough about the staff at MHN. I am here because of them, and I am extremely grateful for them.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was released over 6 months ago and recovery is still a process, and a daily reminder of the blessings we owe to our lifesaving caregivers,\u2019\u2019 Klaehn said. \u201cI remain in awe of their compassion, dedication and personal sacrifice in the face of so much suffering and loss, made all the more impactful in having to also fill the role of the loved ones who cannot be there in person.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy very large and very grateful family send our most sincere thanks to all of these courageous professionals.\u2019\u2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Keith Klaehn, a former Army Command Sergeant Major (the highest rank for an enlisted soldier in the military) and combat veteran, fought an enemy unseen last spring, COVID-19.
