He is currently a clinical instructor in orthopedics at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, and he has published several scientific articles related to the care of the combat-injured and the management of musculoskeletal conditions.<\/span><\/p>\n

He has extensive experience as an orthopedic surgeon in both civilian and military settings. He deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and served on a Golden Hour Offset Surgical Team to provide emergency surgery on patients en route to higher levels of care.<\/span><\/p>\n

The son of a high school football coach, and the middle of three brothers, he has a passion for sports and competition. He began his career as an Air Force orthopedic surgeon. Foss\u2019 philosophy of medicine can be summed up as: \u201cPatients don\u2019t care how much you know until they know how much you care.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
